Abstract:
The experimental clinical basis of psychoanalysis is considered here. An explanation is given from the point of view of dialectical materialism, what are the real conditions for the significance of psychoanalytic method and where are the limits of its application. The theory of Z. Freud on unconscious and on nature of memory is examined in detail. The author emphasizes, that the method of cognition of subjective experiences by psychoanalysis is based on a completely objective fact - the symbolism of language, gestures and other types of external behavior. The coincidence of patient - doctor views (if treatment is successful) is in each case a confirmation of the correctness of the psychoanalytic interpretation of the symbolism of external behavior. Psychoanalysis provides a series of valuable guidance on how to study the inner side of human behavior, behaviorism and reflexology - explore its outer side.
