Abstract:
This monograph, published over 90 years ago, refers to the classics of psychological and pedagogical literature. Created during the crisis period for psychology, it reflects author’s hopes, that it will be the first step to creating a scientific system of pedagogical psychology, to building a training course of pedagogical psychology of a new type, on a bio-social basis. In this case, education is regarded here as some process of social restructuring of biological behavioral forms. The basis and foundation of this course is the doctrine of conditioned reflexes by I. Pavlov. The specialist must observe the principle of conditioned reflex, as a single physiological basis of pedagogy, while analyzing individual elements of education and describing various aspects of pedagogical process at all. However, any teacher in reality must deal with more synthetic forms of behavior, than a separate isolated reaction or reflex, that is, with integral reactions of the body. So, conditioned reflex is only name of mechanism, that transfers us from sociology to sociology and allows us to find out the very essence and nature of educational process.
