Abstract:
The article discusses the concept of “scientific hypothesis” and the process of formation of scientific thinking in children who study at school. The author differentiates the process of development of everyday and scientific concepts and emphasizes the role of experimental research in the study of scientific concepts. From the point of view of the cultural-historical approach, a critical analysis of research is given, which was considered in detail in the works of J. Piaget.
