Abstract:
The results of the dissertation research show that collective project activities can stimulate the development of goal-setting in older adolescents. The levels of development of this ability are associated with the mastery of three key actions: formulating the reasons for action, discovering the reasons for the gap between the desired and the actual, and developing a realistic plan to overcome this gap. The formation of internal conditions for goal-setting in adolescents is facilitated by the organization of adults preparing and conducting games for younger schoolchildren by a group of adolescents. The results of the study can be used to develop programs to develop goal-setting in children and adolescents, as well as in the educational process and consultative work with families.
