Abstract:
The influence of blindness on psychophysical warehouse is very diverse and can lead to opposite results. The result may be enhanced development of memory, attention and other intellectual functions. The mental activity of a blind person can also come to a state of decline; the blind person is unable to overcome the obstacles that he encounters on the path of his intellectual development. It is extremely important for a typhoid teacher to become familiar with the main trends in the development of psycho-physical functions in the blind in order to be able to direct development in the desired direction. The author analyzes his own and literary data on how the lack of vision affects other perceptions. The insufficiency of external impressions is largely compensated by the blind by fixing them more attentively, frequently reproducing them, and developing them comprehensively with the help of thinking. In accordance with this, under favorable conditions for mental activity, attention, memory, and abstract thinking actively develop.
