Abstract:
Explanations of the features of working with a deaf-mute child are given - the control apparatus of a deaf-mute child is not his own ear, but the ear of his teacher. The process of mastering speech by a deaf-mute child must go through, according to Malish, the stages of perception, successful imitation, memorization, repetition and consolidation. Malish sees the main advantage of his method over the traditional synthetic method not in the quality of pronunciation, but in the fact that from the very beginning of training, the deaf-mute masters live speech and, according to children's nature, constantly practice speech spontaneously. Malisch`s requirement to teach whole meaningful words and speech complexes at once is substantiated. According to Malish, not individual speech movements, but their rows should be automated. The few meaningful sound complexes are far from the life of the child and his interests.
