Abstract:
One of the most important concept in social and psychological being is self-knowledge – attitude towards oneself, including actions and personality. This article provides theoretical review on researches, connected to self-knowledge development among children who lost or partly damaged hearing in different age. According to the latest research deaf person concept of oneself differ from well hearing people: higher level of self-esteem and inadequate appraisal of their possibilities is widely common. Self-concept of children, whose parents are actively engaged in their children education, is more realistic.
