Abstract:
Author studied the psychological features of mentors and students, which affect subjective evaluation of joint design-research activities. The goal was — identifying the causes of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the joint work among students and mentors. The sample included students of 8 and 10 grades in boarding school, and their project-managers. Against the backdrop of democratic style of pedagogical support of project, it`s all participants were equal, free and responsible. Two types of focusing on project activities were revealed — on project quality and on student`s personal development. The factors were analysed that determine success and failure of projects. Successful projects usually reach the final stage; their motivation is educational-methodical, they focuse more on the personal development of students than on the projects themselves, the students were active and positive-oriented in their work. Failed projects are delayed at the initial stage and are more severe for the originally-passive negative sentiment parcipitants.
