Abstract:
It was assumed that method of research activity positively affects cognitive competence among students, while contributing to achievement of personal educational outcomes. It was managed partially confirming the work hypothesis about importance of design-method for stimulation of early start into science between high school graduates. Use of Torrance test showed that the creativity level is an important feature of successful implementation of design and research projects. At the same time, it was revealed the gender specificity of relationships between successful project work and research activities, and different creativity types. The analysis of publication activity has led to the conclusion, that experience on design and research activities at the level of secondary (full) general education, correlates with increased publication activity in course of study at university. The recommendations were done on the use of project method at school, at diagnosing students with low verbal creativity and at helping them in science start.
