Abstract:
The association of real indicators of gifts manifestation among students and their teachers subjective assessment was examined here. There were describeв some aspects of identifying talents and motivation, international and domestic experience, tutoring and mentoring issues. Author apply program «Strategy to identify gifted and highly motivated students» and followed the dynamics of teacher′s competencies, while identification of gifted and highly motivated children. This training course has helped teachers to identify children with high intellectual disabilities more accurately. It has been shown that teachers are more inclined to focus on academic achievement, and not on the real manifestations of giftedness, and to identify cognitive motives of this category of students with learning. At primary school, teachers identify the problem is most acute. The results indicate the need for knowledge of psychology and pedagogy for gifted children for teachers in secondary schools.
