Abstract:
The monograph presents materials from two cycles of empirical research. One of them is devoted to specificity specification within educational motivation among schoolboys, the second one — to features definition of motivation for a per-situation level (spiritually-moral, egocentric and hedonistic motivation). The data description includes several lines of analysis, such as: a motivational indicators comparison in younger schoolchildren, junior and senior adolescents; junior schoolchildren with varying degrees of achievement and learning from teachers with different styles of pedagogical leadership; adolescents with normative development, studying in school, brought up in families; gifted adolescents studying at the gymnasium; pupils of cadet boarding schools and adolescents at risk — pupils of orphanages, including children`s homes of VII and VIII kinds (teenagers with mental retardation and mental retardation), vagrant teenagers. The monograph is addressed to psychologists — specialists in the field of children`s and pedagogical psychology, as well as to teachers, working with junior schoolchildren and adolescents.
