The final qualifying work presents the results of a study of the formation of initial reading skills in students with autism spectrum disorders, as well as a system of speech therapy using information technology. The relevance of the study is due to the lack of accumulated experience in the introduction of information technologies in speech therapy work with children with autism spectrum disorders. According to the results of the ascertaining experiment, the levels of formation of non-verbal prerequisites for the formation of initial reading skills were identified, the ways of reading that students master were determined. Based on the results obtained, an electronic manual was developed aimed at the formation of initial reading skills. The results of the control experiment confirmed the effectiveness of the work carried out, regardless of the method of reading used, the students showed higher results in the number of words available for reading.
