Abstract:
One of the central problems of pedagogy is the problem of activating the cognitive activity of students. Its solution is relevant for all links of the continuous education system. It acquires particular importance in pre-school, general secondary and secondary specialized education, during the period of personality development. However, the solution to the problem under consideration is complicated by the insufficient development of new approaches and theories to teaching, the psychological and pedagogical training of teachers, and the lack of systematic information on sources on this problem. The proposed bibliographic index can help teachers, educators and all other workers in the continuous education system who are interested in activating the cognitive activity of students. The main part of the proposed sources consists of works on forms and methods of active learning. The bibliographic index includes works of a methodological, theoretical and methodical nature.
