Abstract:
The article analyzes the pedagogical value of theatrical productions, implemented in the course of teaching deaf and dumb children in special schools. Theater introduces emotions into life, promotes teamwork skills, and protects the psyche. The child begins to feel that, in addition to him and his small individual world, there are gigantic aspirations in comparison with this world, which are carried out by masses of people, begins to feel like a part of these masses. Children`s performances are important for the development of the will, the education of artistic taste, the development of the skills of legible and clear speech, and communication skills. It is emphasized that the methods of creativity among deaf and dumb children do not obey stencils. Recommendations are given for theatrical performances in the lessons of the native language.
