Abstract:
[Psychologically, neurosis is understood as a "breakdown" of the personality in its progress towards the intended or habitually established goals of its own development. This breakdown occurs almost always against the background of a certain change in the initial psychophysiological level of mental health. For final solution of the dichotomy "norm – anomaly", it is necessary to constantly correlate a person`s actions with the space of his/her moral being. It is impossible to be content with the "characteristics of damage", but it is also necessary to understand, how a person can compensate for certain disorders of his/her psyche. That is, the point is not in themselves violations of character, but in their correlation with the personality. The problem of norm and pathology is significant not only in the context of socio-rehabilitation, but is a fundamental general social and general psychological problem related to the foundations of social and mental well-being.
