Abstract:
This dissertation is devoted to the study of the development of communicative behavior in children with autism spectrum disorders using traditional children`s folklore and the development of a system of psychological correction methods. The study analytically substantiates the role of traditional Russian children`s folklore games in the formation and development of verbal and non-verbal communication skills, as well as motivation for interaction. An experiment was conducted demonstrating the effectiveness of the developed methods, expressed in significant positive shifts in the indicators of tactile contact, facial expressions, emotional reactions and play activity of children with ASD. The study developed assessment criteria and a system for monitoring the dynamics of communication skills development, which confirms the value of using national cultural heritage in special education.
