The effectiveness of public service is determined by the quality of personnel and mechanisms for promotion, but in practice, career development, especially in local government bodies, faces a number of barriers. Despite sufficient theo-retical development of the problem, real practices of career growth at the level of specific government bodies have not been sufficiently studied. The study uses theoretical, regulatory, organisational, managerial, and empiri-cal research methods. It has been established that the career management sys-tem in local government bodies is administratively conservative and does not meet modern requirements, which leads to a gap between the career expecta-tions of employees and the opportunities for their realisation. The need to transition to a developmental career management model is justified, and the recommendations proposed are aimed at increasing the effectiveness and sus-tainability of human resources.

The monograph examines the peculiarities of personality development in primary school age. The traditional ideas about this age period and the data obtained by psychologists in the last 10 years are presented. The formation of the motivational-need sphere as the core of personality is described in the most detail, the dynamics of the development of motivation for educational activity is traced. The issues of the specifics of the interaction of a modern primary school student with peers and adults, and his psychological well-being are discussed. The appendix contains the most popular methods aimed at the younger school age. The materials reflected in the monograph can be used in the psychological and pedagogical support of children studying in primary school and in the educational process. The monograph is addressed to school psychologists, teachers and students of psychological faculties.

The dissertation is devoted to the current problem of overcoming the negative impact of the socio-economic crisis and deteriorating ecology on the health of the younger generation. The aim of this study is to develop and experimentally validate a model for implementing a socio-pedagogical approach to sports and fitness activities at an educational institution. The subject of this study is the socio-pedagogical approach to sports and fitness activities at schools. The hypothesis assumes the effectiveness of the approach provided that the interaction of the school with social institutions is improved, the educational potential of the family is realized, and the professional competence of teachers is increased. Sports and recreational activities are recognized as a leading area that promotes health, develops personal qualities of students, and prevents deviant behavior. The socio-pedagogical approach is implemented through the use of social resources to develop a healthy lifestyle culture in children and their families. The expected social effect includes increased involvement of children in school activities and the use of social resources.
