Abstract:
This manual includes a set of techniques for determining children`s readiness to study mathematics and identifying the causes of difficulties in mastering mathematics in elementary school. The methods are distributed according to the components of readiness to study mathematics: logical (diagnosis of the level of development of logical skills), symbolic (diagnosis of the level of development of a symbolic function based on arithmetic material), mathematical (diagnosis of the formation of basic skills that underlie the successful development of mathematics).
